Letter to Parent & Carers regarding whole school return on 8 March 2021
Dear Parents and Carers,
Further to the announcement by the Prime minister this week we are delighted to advise that we will be re-opening our doors to all pupils on the 8th March – we can’t wait to have them back! We have been carefully reviewing our risk assessments and attach the following updated documents, which are in draft format at the moment. Please read these documents carefully as they detail how the children will return to school on the 8th March. Unless things change radically these are our final plans.
We have reviewed and updated in red and green:
- The Parent Manual*
- The Behaviour Policy*
- The Home School Agreement*
Please take some time over the coming days to go through these with your child/children. They are designed to ensure the safety of all members of our community and we should be grateful if you could return the slip attached to the Home school agreement to indicate that you have read and agreed to its contents.
We were hoping to reintroduce Breakfast Club and Active 8 Clubs but they will remain closed for the time being and this will be reviewed at Easter.
We currently have clinically vulnerable families in our school community, including a family where a member is undergoing Chemotherapy and as such we ask that if your child is unwell please keep them home in order to ensure we protect the wellbeing of our vulnerable families.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you soon,
*NB: All documents are available on the Covid-19 Information page of the school website.
