Letter to Parents - 10 June 2020
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that this letter finds you safe and well. Yesterday the government announced that they were dropping plans for the wider reopening of schools to Year groups 2, 3. 4 & 5 before the end of the summer term. I am aware of the disappointment and frustration that this will bring for both you and the children and I wanted you to know that we are here to support you whilst we await further guidance.
Please continue to access the combination of ‘See Saw, CGP books, weekly structure etc. If you are struggling with any aspect of the learning on line then please do not hesitate to contact one of the team. We are advising our families of when your class teacher is in so that if you want to pick up the phone to them then you can do this too.
As we have said before we are also aware that there may be other issues that you may need help and support with, again, please do not hesitate to pick up the phone as we are still working with a multitude of agencies that support families.
We look forward to welcoming back our children in Years R, 1 & 6 next week and if you have not yet seen the video on the website explaining our guide for the children to socially distance and procedures for dropping off/collection then we would be grateful if you could share these expectations with your child.
Take care and stay safe.
Mrs B Davies
