The Quiet Garden

As you enter the school from the parents car park, you will see our newly constructed "Quiet Garden." 

This area was first established several years ago as a place for the children to go and sit or wander around enjoying some peace from the hustle and bustle of the playground during break times.

A gravel pathway extends into the top of the quiet garden from the woodland garden, linking the two together, and work has now begun to restore and renovate the whole garden into a much more user friendly environment.

The aim is to have many more plants, growing in raised beds, planters and gravel beds, to provide a sensory environment for the children (and staff) to chill out in safety. Our school PTFA have very generously set aside funding to pay for plants and materials.
