Virtual Tour and Welcome from Mrs Bernadette Davies - Executive Head Teacher

Welcome to St Mary’s C of E Primary School

'Learning God's Way'

Our school is based on a strong sense of community and belonging – every member is valued and encouraged to fulfil their God-given potential; Christian values are at our core. We see ourselves as one big family where everyone is nurtured. We want all children to enjoy their learning and to build memories that will last a lifetime.

Working together in partnership with parents and the wider community is at our heart and we welcome opportunities for everyone to be involved. Respect and courtesy are evident throughout the life of the school. We are situated in beautiful grounds which includes an exceptional Forest School area that provides many opportunities for exploration, reflection and self-discovery of the world in which we live. Children thrive in this school.

We have high expectations and aspire to improve outcomes for each and every one of our children. We want every child to reach their full potential and to see their confidence and self-esteem grow. We are committed to the safeguarding of our children. Please take an opportunity to look at our website to get a feel of what St Mary’s has to offer your child and if you would like to visit please do not hesitate to contact us on admin@credenhill.hereford.sch.uk or 01432 760408– we would be proud to show you around.

Kind regards,

Mrs B Davies

Our School Ethos and Vision

St Mary’s is a special place with a unique sense of family and community, where we live according to Jesus’ teachings. Christian values are at the heart of everything we do. Everyone is included. We care for the whole child and the extended school family spiritually, mentally and physically.

We strive provide every child with the opportunity to develop their full potential and create a life-long love for learning in an inclusive, supportive Christian community. At St Mary’s we nurture the whole child, and each child is valued and able to thrive.

We aim to be a fully inclusive school and it is integral to our vision that pupils with SEN and other specific needs are given support to access and succeed in all areas of school life. We welcome families from all beliefs and cultures into our school, and we are committed to teaching British Values. We fully promote the role that we all play in a diverse, respectful and democratic society.

Our aim is for every child to become a Successful Learner, Responsible Citizen, Effective Contributor and Confident Individual. This will allow them to become a successful member of the Local, National and Global Community.
