One thing we didn't get to do before we finished our work on the Anglo-Saxons was think about riddles!  The Anglo-Saxons loved them - they used them to teach language and entertain their friends.

Today, I would like you to write a riddle! Tomorrow, when we meet for our Zoom meeting we can share our riddles and see if we can guess the answers.

Once you have written your riddle today - please send it to me on Seesaw so that I can type them up for our Zoom meeting (just in case we have any sound/video issues).

Once you have finished your riddle, research anglo-saxon riddles and see what you can find out.

Here is a short riddle to start you off...

I travel all around the world but never leave the corner. What am I?
