End of term Task
It's almost time to leave Year 5 and prepare to move up to Year 6. Who'd have thought our year would end this way. There have been ups and downs throughout your Year 5 experience. Throughout this time, your carers and parents have been there to keep you safe, have been there to be your teacher and even your entertainer. They are super-heroes. Think of all the ways you have been cared for in the last year. We have had posters and claps for carers - and now I would like you to think about your nearest and dearest and say thank you to them in your own special way. Below are some suggestions and you could choose one of them or do them all! 

You could:-

Design a card, or write a long letter or a poem to thank them. Maybe you have one very special person to thank or maybe there are many. Find a way to say thank you to them; I know many of you love baking so do have permission and supervision for this. Perhaps you love to sew or craft and could make a special commemorative gift they will never forget and keep forever. Maybe you would like to paint a giant family portrait - something money can't buy. I would love to see how you tackle this task and if you are happy to share it, send me a photo.
