The School Pond and Wildlife Garden
Close to the main entrance of St. Marys lies our school pond. It was dug when the new houses on Station Road were built and has been a haven for aquatic creatures and plants and birdlife over the years.
In February 2013 the pond underwent a restoration project to allow it to be used as an outdoor learning area for the children as well as enhancing its potential for sustaining wildlife.
We are extremely proud of our pond and wildlife garden and hope that the children can enjoy it for years to come.
