Have you noticed that in our country we measure long distances in miles as well as kilometres?
A kilometre is shorter than a mile. There is a mathematical way to convert them For this you need to know your 5x and 8x table. So practice those particular tables today. When you know them well, have a go at this sheet. You will also need to brush up on your short division as the distances grow.
