Handwriting: Today I would like you to find a riddle (or make one of your own up) and write it out in your neatest handwriting and send it to me on Seesaw. We are going to use these in our Zoom meeting on Monday so SHHHHH. Don't tell anyone!!

History

The story of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius is one of the most famous in history. Your task to day is to find out all about it:

Where is Vesuvius?

When did the eruption take place that destroyed Pompeii?

How do we know so much about the event?

What is this and how was it created?

 

Your Task: Create a short video of yourself (use could do it straight onto Seesaw or create an iMovie) presenting the information you have collected about the destruction of Pompeii. You could be creative and pretend you are reporter there at the time of the eruption and are presenting the story as it happens.
